The Pack took a giant step toward the Division II Championship defeating all four opponents in the league in the first round-robin. The Coyotes opened with a 8-6 win over South, dropped Carl Hayden, 10-9, eased past St. Mary's, 9-5, and drubbed Mesa, 10-6. In non-conference games, the Phoenix Union nine lost a 6-1 decision to North High and a 5-4 clash to Catalina.
